Hemorrhoidectomy by ligation and excision procedure according to Milligan-Morgan

Abstract

In this work a consecutive series of 116 cases of patients with internal hemorrhoids who have undergone haemorrhoidectomy by ligature and excision procedure is presented, as Milligan and Morgan. These cases have been operated on at the Department of Surgery of the Hospital Obrero de Lima, between September 1958 and November 1961 (over three years), mostly corresponding to one of the surgeons of that service, Dr. Eugenio Beltroy Pattern (67 cases).
