Abstract

The first attempt to give a description of heart muscle was Vesalius in 1514 (6). From then until now have been published about 65 articles on this topic. Among them include the following: The Lower, in 1669, who described how the muscle fibers of the surface layer were attached to the base of the ventricles and that introduced by the tip of her heart again tornaban (4-6 - 16).
