Abstract

The notion of data suberosis 1949, the appointment of the author as Medical Department Head of Anti-Tuberculous Company "Mundet" specialized in handling the cork. Many patients labeled as pulmonary tuberculosis were sent to the various factories of the company. In most cases, it was not put in evidence the Koch bacillus, either in sputum or bronchial aspiration products, whatever the research technique employed. It was thought then that a cause other than tuberculosis would be responsible for the observed clinical and radiological pictures.
