Abstract

Since the introduction of coumarin anticoagulants in clinical practice in 1941 (1.2), the end of the experimental works of Karl Paul Link and his group supplement (3.4), its use has spread dramatically. Indeed; the protection offered by these drugs as antagonists of thromboembolic processes confers singular values in all cases, the common denominator is given by those. However, rigorous control required for proper dosage simultaneously ensure optimal antithrombotic effect and bleeding safety, has been perhaps one of the factors which, among us, its use is very restricted.
