Abstract

The memory of scientists in general and physicians in particular, does not survive in the memory of the generations that follow them or figure in history. The facts discovered are added to other, diluted and disappear into the common mass of anonymous contributions that constitute civilization. Science is, as stated by López Ibor a Saturn devouring his own children.
