Abstract

The year 1855 marks the History of Medical Education in Peru, a date must always be remembered; in that year and thanks to renewing and constructive talent of this remarkable statesman who was named the Grand Marshal Don Ramon Castilla, the Dictatorial Decree of April 7 was given in qie bases university institutional life sat preparing especially as the Faculty of Medicine is concerned, the great stage that the following year would take place and that was due to the wise and tenacious work effort was huge figure of our medicine: Dr. Don Cayetano Heredia.
