Abstract

We have determined the influence of intravenous administration of renin has on the phasic coronary flow. Renin caused an increase of phasic coronary flow. In two expericencias there was a moderate, and very brief initial decrease (one minute) coronary flow. The increase in coronary blood flow reached its highest value 3 to 5 minutes after administration of the substance. Coronary blood flow increase was maintained for the duration of the action of renin hypertensive. Coronary blood flow blood pressure followed and reached its highest value along with it. The possibility of a coronary dilatation caused by renin was raised.
