Abstract

Chronic anoxia, in two corriedale rams, imported from sea level (Chile), and brought to Huancayo (3200 mts. altitude), has produced azzospermia. Both suffered from Mountain Sickness. One of them, developed a reversible process of azoospermia. After a few weeks, the spermatozoids appeared again and the animal showed sexual desire. The ram is now recovering : pH and mobility of his seminal fluid, may be considered normal. The number of cell is very much increased. The other ram not with standing the fact of having marked sexual desire, after five months, is still in azoospermia.
