The characters of experimental tuberculosis, are not strictly similar to human tuberculosis, contrasts clinical and pathological order are evident and they depend of course on the carrying capacity of the experimental animal, the number of bacilli inoculated, their virulence , of the inoculation route and the exact knowledge of the time of infection. This method despite the drawbacks noted, is the only one that allows the investigation of serial biological changes caused by the disease and its relation to pathological findings; It is the method currently used for therapeutic and toxic tuberculostatic assessment of new substancesDownloads
