The study aims to explore the potential use of waste from the Peruvian export agro-industry, particularly the seed of the Hass avocado, to produce bio-oil and biochar by pyrolysis. The process takes place in an empty vacuum tubular reactor with a heating rate of 8.4°C/min, a particle size of < 2 mm, and at temperatures of 300°C, 400°C, and 500°C for a period of three hours and three replicates. The results indicate that temperature has a significant impact on the yield of bio-oil and biochar. The highest bio-oil yield (46.47%) was obtained at 500°C, while the highest biochar yield (45.33) was obtained at 300°C. Additionally, it has been statistically proven
(p > 0.05) that there is a significant difference in yield between bio-oil and biochar, as well as between yields at different temperatures.
