CALL FOR PAPERS IN Vol. 23 No. 1 (2024): DOSSIER ON SIGN LANGUAGE

2023-09-21

The journal Lengua y Sociedad (LyS) of the Instituto de investigaciones de Lingüística Aplicada (CILA) of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) calls for manuscripts for 2024-1 on sign language research. In the framework of the International Day of Sign Languages (September 23), we join the slogan 2022 "Sign languages unite us" which highlights "the unity generated by our sign languages, and the value they have in the diversity and linguistic and cultural identity of communities" and also the slogan 2023: "A world where all deaf people can sign anywhere" in their national sign language (https://acortar.link/GBjFbD).

The journal will collect, in principle, in article format, the papers of the International Congress "Sign Languages for All: Teaching and Interculturality", without excluding post-Congress participations.
