Abstract

The quality of university education in Peru is governed by the Board of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of Quality University Education (CONEAU). The assessment sheet CONEAU in the medical career, has 98 qualification standards, of which No. 33 is related to the number of students per teacher in the theories and practices of laboratory or clinical practice (1). In recent years, the number of vacancies offered this career is on the rise. It is therefore necessary to determine this relationship to assess the quality of development of teaching medical student at the National University of San Marcos (San Marcos) is, according to this indicator (2).
