Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Lisogénica Aislada del Medio Ambiente

En 1915, Twort (22) describe por primera vez la Iisis transmisible de las bacterias en la especie de un micrococo presente en la linfa vaginal y en los cultivos del grupo coli-tífico aislados del intestino. Para explicar este fenómeno, Twort había enunciado varias hipótesis sin concluir con la verdadera naturaleza del agente productor de la lisis. En 1917, d'Herelle (22) designa como bacteriófago al responsable de la lisis transmisible y estudia el ciclo de reproducción del mismo. Para d'Herelle, el bacteriófago era un virus exógeno que infectaba la bacteria, se reproducía en ella y daba lugar a su destrucción. En 1921, Gildemeister (22), haciendo investigaciones sobre este mismo aspecto, observo que los filtrados de heces eran "lisogénicos" para algunas bacterias. Esta fue la primera aparición de la palabra "lisógenos". En la misma época Bail, Otto, Munter y d'Herelle, confirmaron los estudios realizados por Gildemeister y en 1925 Bail y Bordet (22) verifican la existencia de bacterias lisogénicas.Downloads
