Tostación de concentrados mediante el horno Nichols Herres Hoff

En el horno de tostación de tipo laboratorio: Nichols Herres Hoff, 18” I.D., que dispone la EAP de Ing. Metalúrgica, se puede hacer investigación de tostación con concentrados sulfurados. En el horno de tostación tipo solera de 10 kg de capacidad se ha experimentado la tostación de un concentrado sulfurado de zinc. Para el proceso de tostación se han seleccionado dos variables: la temperatura y el aire dosificado en dos niveles para producir el producto de calcina de zinc. En el presente trabajo se ha aplicado el diseño factorial: 22, regresión lineal y cálculos de fórmulas de Excel, lo cual da como resultado: y = -128.025 + 0.309x1 + 0.075x2
