Abstract

The general objective of the study was to determine the influence of occupational risk prevention management on the perception of the safety climate in the workers of an SME in the construction sector. It was carried out from the quantitative perspective, with a non-experimental design and explanatory level, for which two ad hoc questionnaires related to each of the variables were applied to a census sample of 20 workers of the organization. The results obtained showed that occupational risk prevention management positively influences the perception of the safety climate in the company's workers (Spearman's Rho coefficient = 0.737 and p<0.05 value). Consequently, it was concluded that the actions carried out by the company in terms of the control of risks and accidents in the workplace have an impact on the perception of workers in terms of safety management, the safety system against occupational risk, the management of psychosocial factors and the management of competencies in safety matters.
