About the Journal
Focus and scope
Escritura y pensamient. Journal of the Research Unit, Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos was founded in 1998. The journal disseminates original scientific communications, especially related to the results of research in the humanities and related social sciences.
The journal prioritizes reflection and inquiry on literary studies, linguistics, art, conservation, philosophy, social communication, information sciences and social sciences.
The journal Escritura y pensamiento includes the following article sections: Studies, Creation, and Reviews.
Peer review
Manuscripts submitted to reviewers are first evaluated by the Editorial Board, which determines the exclusion of manuscripts according to certain criteria.
The journal employs a double-blind peer review evaluation of the articles; where the referees or reviewers are external or external to the publication and specialized in the thematic focus of the manuscript (read more).
Open access policy
This journal provides immediate free access to its content under the principle of making research freely available to the public, which fosters a greater exchange of global knowledge (read more).
Periodicity
Quarterly journal. Issues are published between January-April, May-August and September-December.
Response time
Authors receive an acceptance response on average nine (09) weeks after submission of the manuscript.
