This paper will study how the image of old age is built –an image that rises from many, varied and contradictory points of view– which Pilar Dughi offers us through her tales. This task will be carried out using the categories of narrative modes proposed by the current developments of fiction. The objective is to understand to what extent Dughi’s tales confront, become more complex or are consistent with the ideas about old age prevalent in the world today.Downloads
