The aim of this paper is to explore the poetic art of Jorge Eduardo Eielson through his journalistic, essayistic and poetic production. Both in his articles and in his poetry, Eielson has unveiled his conception of poetry and poetic creation, and he has also made transparent certain thematic and formal reasons that are cuttingcross to all his poetry, that is, some topics of Eielsonian poetry. Therefore, this essay attempts to trace the poetic art of Eielson, understanding by poetic art (or simply poetics) a set of ideas about the poetic process, but also a repetitive set of formal and thematic elements along the poetry of Eielson .Downloads
