In this paper we try to offer a critical examination of certain issues relating to interactive science which, according to Professor Heinrich Helberg, is involved into a relationship of dialogue with reality. This aims at sustaining the life system on the planet Earth. This new ontology would overcome the dominance relation over nature and the theoretical and methodological constraints of contemporary science. Also, this relationship of dialogue should incorporate the intercultural dialogue, including the dialogue among the species, and thus overcoming the distinction between theory and praxis. This new relationship with nature also means, according to the author, a new concept of nature that is no longer “the realm of natural laws”, but one which recognizes that nature has different strategies and that we find in it different forms of interaction in different languages, that is the reason why we can speak of a grammar of nature. In this new ontology, new forms of dialogue require both ethics and hermeneutics that allows a rational control of dialogue with explicit and rational criteria, and shared when possible.
