The so-called literary generation of the 50s in Peru, represents an important moment in the literature of our country. Among its representatives there are some who have become popular worldwide such as Mario Vargas Llosa and Carlos Germán Belli. This article recounts the activity of these writers and concentrates on some of them for illustration purposes.
