Abstract

The Cuadernos Urgentes literary criticism collection has responded to the need to cover certain pending issues that have been overlooked by the national academy, agenda items that have finally found a place to be carried out. Each volume of articles is dedicated to the work of a well-known Peruvian writer in full production, but insufficiently studied. After the articles focused on Augusto Higa and Julian Perez, the third one is devoted to Cronwell Jara (Piura, 1949), an author who throughout his extensive career has traveled the paths of various literary and metaliterary genres, although narrative is his most celebrated facet.
