Writing poetry has the irresistible charm of facing the word, the same word that must appear as if it had never existed. We met Sergio Alcides, Silvia Mellado and Jorge Aguilera, we talked at the San Marcos Poetry Workshop at the International Poetry Recital (July 21, 2021). Gloria Arbitres participated for a moment in the 31st Recital. The words follow one another, they are read in the language of each poet, there are no borders, they are simply perceived, felt. They comment, talk and read poetry. Sensitive to life, intense, parodic, at times neo-baroque, or cyber-poets, they arrive and are prisoners of academic life. They have defined their lives as creators, as poets, but they are cornered by the demands of the professorship.
