El arte de dar clase (según un lingüista) es el último trabajo del profesor Daniel Cassany, cuyo texto original fue publicado en catalán el 2021, bajo el título L’art de fer classe y por la misma editorial. El contenido del libro, a manera de anecdotario estructurado por temáticas, está dedicado a explicar a los profesores (especialmente de Lingüística) el proceso para diseñar y ofrecer situaciones especiales de aprendizaje, en vez de dar o dictar una clase. Tomando en cuenta que en la actualidad el estudiante es el centro de la labor de enseñanza.
