The history of the book in Peru is also the history of its agents and formats. For this reason, we must highlight the growing interest in studies on books and publishing houses. Some of these are Mosca Azul Editores. Peripecias de una editorial peruana 1972-2006 (2023) by Vera Lauer Salas; La máquina de hacer poesía. Imprenta, producción y reproducción de poesía en el Perú del siglo xx (2019) by Luis Alberto Castillo; the various articles on Populibros y las bibliotecas published by historian Carlos Aguirre, among others. The recent book by Del-fina González del Riego E. and Osmar Gonzales Alvarado, El inte-lectual-editor y el doble valor del libro en el Perú. Desde fines del siglo xixhasta fines del siglo xx(2023), should be added to the group with its notable panoramic and systematising contribution.
