In recent years, I have gathered a group of poems which reflect the relationship between nütram and poetry. The first alludes to the mapuche literary genre which encompasses historical report, transmission of knowledge and also conversation. This group of poems includes texts by Jaime Luis Huenún, Maribel Mora Curriao, Viviana Ayilef, César Cabello, Wenuan Escalona. In this work I investigate two aspects of the relationship between nütram and poetry. One of them shows the need for nütram. Poetry is not possible without conversations, without transmitting knowledge. The second aspect, on the contrary, shows how nütram is manifested by its interruption. In this case, poets inquire about the importance of nütram in the aesthetic and political decisions of their peers.
