Abstract

El texto testimonial es una de las especies más problemáticas respecto a lo que la academia considera como literatura y lo que no. Este género surgió en los años 60, en Latinoamérica, con textos fundacionales como Biografía de un cimarrón (1966), gestado por Miguel Barnet, el cual tiene como testor a Esteban Montejo. Estos textos, ciertamente heterogéneos para la ciudad letrada, tuvieron como base al auge de publicaciones de textos etnográficos que empezó en los años 50. Tanta fue la importancia del género que se convirtió en materia de conversación en el mundo literario latinoamericano desde fines del siglo pasado, gracias a estudiosos como Beverly (1987), Vera León (1992), Achugar (1992), Randall (1992) y, más recientemente, Grillo (2021).

  • Nayeli Chirstell Acosta Garcia, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos

    Nayeli Chirstell Acosta Garcia (21 years old). She is an undergraduate student at the Professional School of Literature, of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Her studies are oriented towards literature written in native languages, specifically Quechua (Chanka variant), and Latin American and Amerindian Literature. She has advanced level studies in English and Quechua Chanka.
