Abstract

The poetic production of the 70s was a cultural turn with respect to poetry. On the one hand, the language of the street with its colloquialism entered the lyric to dismantle a cultured and traditional rhetoric. On the other hand, the poets' writing transgressed the intimate and romantic images of love with one of the sexualized and empowered body. At this juncture, the poetry of María Emilia Cornejo emerges with her verses that presented a heartbreaking confession about love relationships, where idealism was violated by the grotesque materiality of sweat, sex and noise. From this perspective we observe a rhetoric of the house and love, which is longed for and pursued, without understanding that this is real in a space that at first is harmonious, the house, but which becomes, as it passes, in a place of desolation since the concept of love has not been formed nor does it have a foothold in said place; Therefore, it is concluded that there is no relationship, only illusions and appearances in their sentimental education. To elucidate our working hypothesis, we will use Jacques Lacan's concepts of love expressed in his Seminars and, regarding the idea of the house, we will turn to Gastón Bachelard with his book The Poetics of Space. The analysis tool will be hermeneutics and semiotics.
