The present work investigates the presence of some ancestral Andean frontiers incontemporary literature. It concentrates its attention on the emergence of an Andeanpoetic form which we identify as resources that proceed from what we havecalled «ñuqanchispa takikuna» that is our poetic songs which are now heard in thewhole of Peru. Such poetic strategies, if I think they define traditional oral poetry, Ithen relate them to a contemporary literature which also defines its modern poetictechnique as Andean. We will also approach the writings of Gamaliel Churata andMario Florián, although I will also take a long look at José María Arguedas andHildebrando Pérez Grande.Downloads
