Abstract

This paper seeks to understand the role, the concept and the representation of the Indian in the political proposal of Julio C. Tello, in his charge of republican deputy, between the years of 1917-1929. To do this, it investigates its legislative, representative and oversight participation, based on the following documents: bills, motions, opinions and personal letters. Hoping, in this way, to contribute: on the one hand, with the memory and history of the referred person, as with the political-intellectual history of the nation.
