“La sociedad está pensada como una mecánica en el seno de la cual se recortan y se articulan subsistemas: la familia es un engranaje principal” es una de las frases que resaltan dentro del presente texto.
El presente libro propone revalorizar uno de los tópicos más volubles dentro de las ciencias sociales, la institución familiar, y claro que ha pasado por diversos especialistas desde las condiciones del parentesco que asumía Lévi-Strauss, o hasta la concepción de familiar moderna con Talcott Parsons.
