Aims and scope

Pensamiento critico is published by the research institute of Facultad de Ciencias Economicas of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. The papers publishes aims to study the economic problems from different perspectives. Pensamiento critico seeks to be a space for academic debate that covers the different fields of economics.

Pensamiento critico is published every six months in an online version, publishes original and unpublished articles, results of researches carried out by national and foreign researchers, in themes of economics, economic policy, the management of the country and direction of public organizations and private companies and other related.

Open access policy

Pensamiento crítico provides free and immediate access to its contents under the principle of making research available to the public free of charge, which fosters a greater exchange of global knowledge.

Pensamiento crítico adheres to the principles and policies of Open Access established in Budapest (2002) (BOAI 10), Berlin (2003) and Bethesda (2003) and gives readers the free, irrevocable and global right to access information , as well as to download, print, share or link the full text of any of the articles in any of the published issues, provided they are duly cited and taking into consideration the copyright, established in Legislative Decree 822, Law on the Copyright, of Peru.

Pensamiento crítico uses the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License for the distribution of articles.

Publication costs

Pensamiento crítico does not charge for the presentation, reception, revision or edition of the work sent, or during the publication process.

Ethics guidelines

Pensamieno crítico editorial proccess is guided by the ethical concepts (codes of conduct http: // publicationethics.org/resources/code-conduct) and best practices (http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines) of publication mentioned in the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE - http: // publicationethics. org /).

Pensamieno crítico also adheres to the principles of ethics of the publication published by Springer who, in order to guarantee a high quality publication, recommends that article writers avoid:

  •  The fabrication and falsification of data. It means that the researcher did not do the study that gave rise to the article and created data to justify it.
  • Plagiarism. Taking the ideas and work of other scientists without giving them credit is unfair and dishonest.
  • Multiple presentations. It is not ethical to submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
  • Redundant publications. It means publishing many very similar manuscripts based on the same experiment.
  • Contribution or inappropriate attribution of the author. All authors mentioned must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and have approved all their proposals.

With regard to authorship, Pensamieno crítico assumes the veracity of the letter of presentation and the letter of consent for publication, where the authors of the work are nominated.
