Abstract

The aim of this article is explaining, through the Critical discourse analysis (CDA), how the racist discourse of the elites of the city of Satipo (province of the Rainforest of Peru) has penetrated and it has naturalized into the young Ashaninka students who have migrated from their communities to do their professional studies in the city.

    Magíster en Lingüística por la UNMSM. Y doctora en Educación por la misma universidad. Licenciada en Lingüística y Literatura por la PUCP. Y cuenta con el título de máster en Inmigración e Interculturalidad en la Universidad de Castilla - La Mancha.

  • Roberto Zariquiey, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Lima, Peru

    PhD en Lingüística por LaTrobe University (Melbourne, Australia) y profesor asociado de lingüística en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Sus áreas de especialización son la tipología lingüística, la descripción gramatical, la documentación lingüística, la fonética y fonología, la lingüística histórica y la lingüística computacional con foco en las lenguas sudamericanas. Ha realizado trabajo de campo original en diversas regiones del Perú y con múltiples lenguas (incluyendo Shipibo-Konibo, Kakataibo, Iskonawa, Yaminawa, Sharanawa, Mastanawa, etc.). Asimismo, ha liderado diversos proyectos de investigación financiados por la PUCP, la NSF y el CONCYTEC. Su producción científica incluye libros y revistas en diversas áreas de la lingüística publicados en el Perú y el extranjero (en series y revistas de gran impacto).
