Education and pedagogy in a world mediated by globalization

The objective of this study was to analyze the effects of globalization on the way of living, thinking and decision-making of human beings. In turn, popular education was described as an alternative for education, training and care. Also, the importance of more humane pedagogical practices, of an inclusive nature and respect for difference and inclusion was considered. In conclusion, proactive positions are distinguished around social inequalities and the control exercised by global economies over peoples.
