The Writing Competence of Text in English and the Formative Evaluation in the Students in the Educational Institution at Proceres de la Independencia, Lima, 2021

In this study, the need to identify the relationship between the competence to write texts in English and the formative evaluation in the second year of secondary school students in the IE is raised. 138 Heroes of Independence in Lima. The quantitative approach was used, the level was exploratory and correlational, and the design used was non-experimental. The information collection instrument was a follow-up sheet validated by expert judgment and its reliability by the Cronbach Coefficient. Regarding the sample, there were 66 students of the second year of high school. To find the correlation of the variables, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used. Finally, the most relevant results of the study show that among the variables the competence writes texts in English and the formative evaluation there is a considerable positive correlation of 0.784.
