Abstract

The remarkable growth of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in business management and the new trends in the management of flexible technologies by managers are the main catalysts of this article. The objective is to establish the relationship between a student ERP and the administrative-academic management at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Privado de Investigaciones Industriales. This research is applied, correlational, quantitative and pre-experimental, conducted with a single group and a single measurement to collect relevant data that were subjected to Cronbach’s alpha statistical test to determine its reliability. The results are presented by means of frequencies or scale intervals and reveal high levels of acceptability, showing a clear positive trend and significant correlations. Spearman’s Rho statistic shows a value of 0.458, evidencing a considerable relationship and a regular correlation that support the hypotheses put forward. In conclusion, it is established that the student ERP has a significant influence on the administrative-academic management of the Institute.
