Abstract

The family plays a very important role in the personal and social development of children, in this sense, the family support they receive from their parents will improve the results they can obtain in achieving their personal goals. Under this assumption, multiple investigations have been carried out on family participation, family involvement, family support, etc., whose purpose was to measure their influence in improving academic aspects. In this context, the objective was to determine the degree of influence of family support in pedagogical management. For this purpose, a basic research, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, causal correlational type was developed. The sample consisted of 184 students and 17 teachers to whom a 54-item Likert scale questionnaire was applied and which were submitted to the judgment of experts, obtaining a validation of 91.3%. Cronbach’s alpha was used to determine the reliability of the instruments, obtaining a score of 0.83. When Spearman’s Rho coefficient was applied, a correlation of 0.429 was obtained, which is positive and significant.
