Abstract

The Caprifoliaceae are represented in Peru by three genera and 16 species (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993), mainly shrubs and trees. Here we recognize three endemic taxa, all in the genus Viburnum. We applied IUCN categories and criteria to two species. No endemic Caprifoliaceae have been registered within Peru’s protected areas system.
