The Cyclanthaceae are represented in Peru by nine genera and 37 species (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993; Ulloa Ulloa et al., 2004), mostly herbs and vines. Here we recognize seven endemic species in three genera. The endemic species are found in Humid Amazonian Forest and Premontane Forest, between 180 and 1100 m elevation. Two Peruvian endemics have reportedly been recorded within protected areas.Downloads
