Passiflora dorisiae is described and illustrated as a new species of the genus Passiflora (Passifloraceae) from western cloud forests of Northwest Peru. Passiflora dorisiae is very similar to P. lawessonii from Ecuador but differs in the internal structure of the flower by possessing an erect operculum with upper half split into filiform segments and small filaments inserts; bracts glandular-serrate; leaves 3-lobed to 1/3-1/4 of its size, the base glandular-serrate; biglandular petiole occasionally with one additional distal gland and by its geographical range.Downloads
