The purpose of this essay is to interweave the findings found in the research project «Social representations of ealthy puberty in participants of a Comprehensive Sexual Education project applied in Lima Norte» which was worked through the psychosocial prevention project «I have right to a Healthy Puberty», in conjunction with my reflections from the fragment «Re-presentation of (sexual) difference: wrong texts, bodies and wri-ting», from the book Psychoanalysis and feminism. Fragmentary thoughts (Flax, 1995).
To do this, the structure of this essay will be as follows: At first, the problem of puberty as a relegated and invisible stage will be contextualized, mentioning the need and proposals for Integral Sexual Education (ISE) at the national level. In a second moment, the research project will be discussed, mentioning the objectives to which it responds and explaining the execution of the ISE project «I have the right to a Healthy Puberty.» In a third moment, a reduced presentation of the results will be made, complementing them with what was analyzed in Jane Flax’s reading. Finally, the conclusions of this paper will be presented.
