Abstract

The objective of this systematic review is to analyze how job performance acts as an effective indicator of productivity in organizations. Scientific papers published between 2019 and 2024 were examined, using databases such as Scopus, SciELO, Redalyc, and Google Scholar. The selected studies addressed motivational factors, training and professional development, organizational environment and culture, leadership and management, as well as technology and work tools. The results show that motivation and job satisfaction, fostered through incentives and recognition programs, are critical to optimizing employee performance. Continuous training and professional development were identified as essential elements in maintaining a highly skilled and motivated workforce. A positive work environment and strong organizational culture increase employee morale and efficiency. In addition, transformational leadership and effective management practices foster an innovative and engaging work environment. Finally, the implementation of appropriate technology and efficient tools can significantly improve productivity and reduce lead times. In conclusion, because work performance is a key indicator of productivity, organizations must adopt a comprehensive approach that includes these factors to strengthen their competitiveness and long-term success.
