El fenómeno de la dolarización no es re ciente en los debates académicos internaciona les; sin embargo, en la última década, el tema ha adquirido un nuevo interés a partir de algu nos eventos internacionales como la unión mo netaria europea, la reciente iniciativa de los EE. UU. en torno a la creación de un área comercial y financiera común, y las crisis financieras que han sufrido los países en desarrollo. En nuestro país, el tema también tiene interés porque la economía funciona desde hace varios años en condiciones de dualidad monetaria.Downloads
