This article is the product of the investigation that was developed after we asked ourselves the following questions: (a) What has been the behavior of the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) of Peruvian industrial companies listed on the Lima Stock Exchange during the period from 1999 to 2010?; and (b) What companies in this sector of the Peruvian economy listed on the Lima Stock Exchange presented the best investment opportunities in the period of analysis?
To answer were developed five chapters and concluded that not all companies have the same investment opportunities and this differs depending on the size of the company and the line of business.
