De igual forma que Francisca Zubiaga, Claudia Nuñez, nació en el Cusco, pero en 1987. Asimismo, estudió arqueología en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional San Antonio de Abad, aunque culminó sus estudios en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. En esta casa de estudios realizó una maestría en Historia y se especializó en los estudios de la mujer y de género. En consecuencia, sus publicaciones e investigaciones han girado en torno al papel de la mujer en la historia peruana.
