The present research is a descriptive linguistic study of the hybrid loanwords used in the technical language of computer science in Peru.
The loans are analyzed and classified at the morphological and lexical level of the Spanish language. According to their degree of assimilation, they are known as simple hybrid loans (chatear 'to chat') and complex hybrid loans (ficha repair 'repair tab'). This information can serve as an updated reference for lexicographers to record new borrowings in a technical computer dictionary.
