Dossier: Reforms and innovation in the history of education in republican Peru, XIX and XX centuries

En febrero del año 2018 se llevó a cabo el I Congreso Nacional de Historia de la Educación, organizado por el Instituto de Estudios Peruanos. En él se presentaron más de treinta ponencias que mostraban las reflexiones y los avances de investigación de profesionales en la educación e historia. El objetivo general del congreso fue plantear la importancia de la perspectiva histórica en el análisis de las políticas educativas e identificar temáticas de investigación comunes entre la educación y la historia. El presente dossier expone una pequeña parte de esas investigaciones, cuya temática se refiere a las experiencias educativas reformistas desde el Estado y desde las aulas para modernizar la educación y formar ciudadanos sanos y aptos para el trabajo, desde, aproximadamente, mediados del siglo XIX a mediados del siglo XX.
