El segundo semestre se inicia con la promulgación de una nueva Ley Universitaria, que regulará el funcionamiento de la universidad peruana. Los avances de la educación superior en el mundo así lo exigía, dado el desorden que existe en el país sobre el funcionamiento universitario, principalmente en el ámbito privado. La universidad pública y específicamente la Universidad de San Marcos, tiene una gestión democrática, en donde el gobierno universitario está representado por los docentes, estudiantes y egresados; con una regularización del funcionamiento académico y administrativo,sostenido por la comunidad universitaria; sin embargo funciona con múltiples problemas, consecuencia del abandono de los gobiernos sucesivos que se producen en los últimos cincuenta años.Downloads
