Psychosocial analysis of cultural values between peruvian and korean families

The present investigation has as objective the appreciation of the values identity, belonging and expression emotion of the Peruvian and Korean students. The study is comparative descriptive and non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 200 students from Peru and Korea: 100 students from the National University of San Marcos of Peru, and 100 from the University of Seoul theology of South Korea, whose ages range between 18 and 23 years. The Scale of evaluation of the feelings of identity, belonging and emotional expression, developed for this investigation, of individual or collective application, was used as an instrument for data collection. Reliability was determined by the internal consistency method, finding coefficients of Cronbach's alpha of 0.826 for the identity scale, 0.833 for belonging, and 0.89 for emotional expression. The results indicated that there is a significant difference in favor of Korean students in Jeong's sense of identity and emotional expression. On the contrary, there is no significant difference between Peruvian and Korean students sense of belonging.Downloads
