Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the psychometric properties of validity and reliability of “Escala de Adherencia Terapéutica basada en comportamientos explícitos” in patients with kidney disease. Method: The research was instrumental, with a sample of 245 patients with kidney disease, between men and women, whose ages ranged from 16 to 65 years. Results: The reliability obtained through the alpha, ordinal and omega coefficient, values greater than .70 considered acceptable. In addition, a confirmatory factorial analysis was performed where adequate fit indices were found for an oblique three-factor model with 13 items (X2 =158.432, gl=62, CFI=.955, TLI=.943, SMRM=.075, RMSEA =.080 and WRMR=1.007). Conclusions: The instrument presents evidence of validity and reliability based on the structure of the construct for the study sample.
