Effects of a workshop for the development of strategies of learning in adult professionals in formation to be educating

OBJECTIVE: to Study the effects of a workshop for the development of learning strategies in mature professionals in formation to be educators. DESIGN: Experimental of the type Pre and Post-test with control group in adults professionals in formation to be educators of Lima and Callao in the year 2003. INSTRUMENTS AND METHODS: simple random Sampling; the sample for the study was conformed by 50 participants, of the program of pedagogic complementation, being assigned from a random way to the control groups and experimental. The scale ACRA was used and a record of Personal Data was applied. The statistical analysis was developed in three stages, psicometrico to evaluate the validity and dependability of the ACRA; descriptive of the studied variables, and the comparisons between the experimental group and the control group in the pre-test and the post¬test to contrast the outlined hypotheses. RESULTS: The analyses indicated the results they indicated that before applying the experimental treatment, the Experimental groups and of Control they presented similar securities in the scale ACRA, it was observed that the scores of the participants in the areas of the scale presented similar securities to the normal distribution. It was also observed that significant statistical differences exist in the learning Strategies between the experimental group and the control group. CONCLUSIONS: the shop was effective to promote the development of the learning strategies and one observes that on the average more than 90% of the members of the Experimental group they increased its scores in the Strategies of Learning.Downloads
